Janet’s Country Fayre began in the late 1990s, at a time when Ireland’s artisan food movement was just emerging. Inspired by the growing appreciation for Irish food heritage, I set out to create distinctive chutneys and relishes that combined creativity with quality ingredients.

Early recognition from John and Sally McKenna in the first edition of the Bridgestone Irish Food Guide gave the business a powerful boost and reinforced my ambition to become one of Ireland’s most innovative producers in the category.

What started in a small production kitchen in the Midlands has grown into a modern, purpose-built facility in Kilcoole, Co. Wicklow, where my team and I continue to craft our range today.

While the business has grown, my favourite part of the day remains the same — working in the kitchen, refining recipes and developing new products.

Over the years we’ve built valued partnerships with leading Irish food brands, including Sheridans Cheesemongers, The Traditional Cheese Co and expanded our offering to include the Janet’s Just Delicious range of pasta and pizza sauces.

We are proud members of Good Food Ireland and verified members of Bord Bia’s Origin Green Programme, reflecting our ongoing commitment to quality and sustainability.
