Another of my favourite weekday suppers that everyone will enjoy. Serve with a medley of steamed green veg.

Classic Meatballs

  1. Olive Oil
  2. 1 Onion
  3. I Clove Garlic
  4. Mince Beef or Lamb - suggest around 250 - 300gms
  5. Breadcrumbs about 15 gms
  6. 1 Egg
  7. Salt & Black Pepper
  8. 1 Jar of Janet's Just Delicious " Classic Roast Tomato" Pasta Sauce
  9. Spaghetti
  10. Parmesan Cheese ( a little bit naughty!)
  1. Place your meat in a bowl and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Add your breadcrumbs, chopped onion and crushed garlic clove.
  3. Break and add in your egg.
  4. With very clean hands bind the ingredients in the bowl together.
  5. If the mixture is too wet you can add some more breadcrumbs or a little plain flour.
  6. Take small amounts of the mixture and form in to small balls - about 6
  7. Heat your frying pan and add a small amount of olive oil.
  8. Place your meatballs into the pan and over a medium heat brown one side, then turn and brown the other.
  9. Add one jar of Janet's Just Delicious "Classic Roast Tomato" Pasta Sauce to the pan and turn down the heat.
  10. Cover and simmer while your pasta is cooking.
  11. Strain your pasta and place in dish
  12. Add your meatballs
  13. Serve with shavings of parmesan cheese.
